Hydrosila MZTG (Melitopol Tractor Hydraulic Units Plant) is the largest manufacturer of hydraulic control valves for tractors, agricultural and other mobile machines in Ukraine and the CIS countries.
The factory is located in Melitopol, Ukraine, the administrative center of Melitopol district, Zaporozhskiy region.
The first hydraulic control valve was manufactured in 1958 and already more than 50 years Melitopol plant is dedicated to production of hydraulic units for tractor plants in the CIS countries and cooperates with Kirovskiy, Kharkovskiy, Volgogradskiy and other factories.
Since 2004 quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2000. At the factory is introduced operation management system Kaizen.
Nowadays the main task for factory management is to make facility and social reorganization step by step. Among the main tasks are product range enlargement, improvement of technical facilities, developement of infrastructure.
HISTORY:
The history of the company started in August 1950. First this territory belonged to the state forest nursery in the south-east of Melitopol. Further, in 1951 it was the factory, which processed raw-cotton.
In 5 years seeding of cotton was stopped because of improper weather conditions at the territory of Ukraine.
According to the order of Council of Ministers in 1956 Melitopol plant of processing raw-cotton was reorganized in repair and engineering plant and subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture. The factory specialized in repairing of truck ЗИЛ-150 and manufacturing of harvester blades and others. So that was the beginning of machinebuilding factory and the basis for foundation of engineers and qualified workers.
20 March, 1958
Melitopol repair and engineering plant was renamed into Aggregate, and in 1959 into Melitopol Hydraulic Units Plant.
In 1958 was produced first hydraulic control valve.
20, June, 1958 tractor plants were provided with the first parcel of 150 hydraulic control valves.
Due to encreasing of tractor and agricultural machines production, the factory encreased production volume, was founded wholesale specialized manufacturing and also it gave opportunity to widen the range of products.
1962
Was mastered production of hydraulic steering valve and hydraulic magnifier of adhesion weight.
1967
Was produced millionth hydraulic control valve.
In 60-70th were provided advanced technologies of machining and units assembling:
- diamond machining, friction welding, carbon dioxide welding,
- introduced 8 automatic lines of mechanical operation, 2 powder coating finishing lines, 10 combined production systems. All in all 48 machines.
1971-1976
Were mastered 17 new kinds of hydraulic units to new tractor models T-350 and T-500, produced by Cheboksary tractor plant.
The level of automation and mechanization reached 86,3%.
Products exported to 58 countries.
In 1956 at the plant were 26 units of equipment, in 1976 there were already 2769 units, and in 1988 there were 3270 units of equipment.
1975-1990
Was mastered production of hydraulic steering valves 77.72A.011, valves 77.72A.013, other units to tractors T-330, K-700 and 701, T-150 and T-150K, T-130, DON-1500, control valves and bumpers to trucks KraZ, ZAZ, VAZ.
1985
Was finished reconsrtruction of main and additionary manufacturing facilities. The plant became the leading manufacturer in the field of agricultural machinebuilding. 12 main and 8 additional shops entered into the structure of the plant. Those days over 8000 people were employed at the plant.
That was the best time and manufacturing range of control valves, type B3 (three spools) reached 554 297 units, type B2 (two spools) – 172 346 units, control valves type R160 – 82 033 units, hydraulic cylinders C100 – 319 110 units, C75 – 232 160 units.
The main consumers were tractor and harvester OEM: Minskiy, Kharkovskiy, Altayskiy, Volgogradskiy, Lipetskiy tractor plants, UMZ, Khersonskiy harvester plant, AvtoKraz, Berdianskiy plant of agricultural machines.
90-th
In the ninetieth at the plant was mastered manufacturing of bumpers for cars “Tavria”, “VAZ”, “Moskvich”, for buses “Ikarus” and trolleybuses, produced control valves for trucks “KraZ”, modular control valves for mini-tractor XTZ.
1992 – 1999
Due to collaps of USSR and loss of economic relations, the plant decreased its manufacturing capacity.
1995
The plant was reorganized to Melitopol Tractor Hydraulic Units Plant, JSC.
New century brought new stage in the development. The plant meet all the difficulties of the cricis and managed not only to save the range of products, but to add new kinds.
2004
Since 2004 is introduced quality management system, which conforms international standard ISO 9001:2000.
2006
Plant majority interest was purchased by Hydrosila GROUP, JSC.
2008
The plant was renamed to Hydrosila MZTG, JSC and manufacturing of hydraulic cylinders was established as separate factory named Hydrosila TETIS.
Today
Nowadays Hydrosila MZTG is the largest manufacturer of control valves for hydraulic system of tractors, agricultural and other mobile machines within CIS countries. Since 1968 at the plant functions its own RD-department.
In the technological cycle are used automatic lines of mechanical processing with loaders, handlers and robots, also is used equipment and technologies for finishing of precision holes, such as Nagel, Gehring, Mikrosa, CNC by HAAS and others.
Nowadays the new methods of quality improvement and corporate culture are implied at the factory, known as “5S” – the system wich helps the workers to keep things clean and in order, to strengthen self-discipline.
Products
Directional control valves, monoblock are installed at tractors, agricultural machines, loaders, excavators to operate actuators. Nowadays at the factory is produced a range of monoblock control valves, intended to work in hydraulic systems for pressure 160 bar and flow 20 to 200 l/min. Spools quantity 1 to 4.
Directional control valves, modular are installed at tractors, harvesters, loaders and municipal machines. These control valves are used in hydraulic systems to control actuators. Spool control: mechanical (arm or cable), hydraulic, electrohydraulic. Modular control valves are intended to work in hydraulic system with pressure up to 250 bar and flow 20 to 250 l/min. Spool quantity 1 to 12.
