A guiding rule for our business activities is to ensure continuously high quality of our products.
The main feature in manufacturing quality products which meet customers’ demands is finished design, steady engineering process, high professional and disciplined personnel so as the functioning of the quality management system. Our quality management system was developed in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001:1994 on the basis of Complexe quality management system, which had been in force since 1983, and certified by experts of Bureau Veritas, representing the International Standard Organization (ISO), in February 2000.
The quality management system covers the whole cycle of enterprise activities, from designing to sales and after-sale services.
The central metrological department of the enterprise is equipped with modern precise verifying and measurement instrumentation.
Its activity covers all stages of the production cycle, ensures the manufacturing accuracy, from test of materials, half-finished products, components to final inspection.
Manpower is assumed to be at the heart of production, and the human element was always, remains and will be a determinative factor influencing the product quality. The alteration of personnel’s attitude towards discharging its duties, strengthening of production discipline - that is a vital issue and a challenge for management.
The only condition for such radical changes are constant and continuous endeavours aimed at teaching and raising the skills level the personnel. Yearly, more than 30% of workers raise the level of their proficiency. New techniques require a new level of doers’ skills. Adjusters of main workshops are trained to practical usage of methods of statistic analysis while estimating technological accuracy and adjustment of machines.
At the factory, we developed system of products identification and traceability, so we can easily find out who assembled, tested, checked and packed each pump. As they say at the factory each pump has its first and second name, and surname. Therefore, any fact of pump defects claimed by our customers so as product deviations found out through final tests is analyzed, and we can learn the doers.
The products are delivered to customers only after careful verification and 100% commission tests.
Nowadays at "Hydrosila", JSC there are implemented methods of improving product quality and corporate culture known as "5S": the system of getting things put in order, cleanness and strengthening of self-discipline of personnel.
